LISKEARD Athletic manager Martin Burgess has not wasted any time in making use of the June transfer window.

Burgess and his assistant, Kevin Harley, were confronted with a mass defection of players on their arrival at Lux Park, leaving the pair to start from scratch.

Nine transfer notices have been received by League secretary Philip Hiscox, who has released details of the 88 transfers conducted in June.

Dobwalls pair Phil Bromhead and Matt Hawes are joined at Lux Park by the Parkway duo of Aaron Hulme and Andrew Neal, with John Scholes and James Simmons following Burgess from his former club, Vospers Oak Villa.

Midfielders Chris Clarke (Elburton) and Craig Holt (Tavistock) plus goalkeeper Chris Wearing, from Holsworthy, completed the month's business.
