The Blues continue to save their best performances for Cup competitions

as they reached

the last eight of the Cornwall Senior Cup courtesy of this impressive victory on a very heavy pitch

at Blaise Park.

Liskeard have won more games in the Cup this season than they have in the League.

This was their third victory in four Cup-ties and, more importantly, gives them home advantage in tomorrow's quarter-final against Division One West side Helston Athletic.

It was a special moment for manager Paul Blatchford, who was able to celebrate his second win in charge of the first team – the only other success being the 6-0 Senior Cup victory at Foxhole.
