TORPOINT Athletic's footballers ditched their shin-pads for

a different challenge – a game of netball against one of the town's local teams.

Bar Mez, who play in the Premier A Division of the Plymouth and District Netball League, have been challenged to matches by a few sporting teams (basketball, rugby and football).

This time, they agreed to give over some of their training session to let the footballers show off their fancy courtwork at the Torpoint and Rame YMCA Sports Hall.
