Preparations are well under way for the start of the Bond Timber Liskeard and District Snooker League 2016-17 season and the fixture list has been finalised.

Thirty-two teams have entered the league with the Premier Division and Division One both having 11 entries, with 10 in Division Two. The first round of matches will be played on Wednesday, September 14 and full details of fixtures are to be found on the League website.

Fixture booklets, scorecards and competition entry forms are in preparation and are available from Pensilva Snooker Room after 6pm on Wednesday, September 7.

Captains are requested to arrange for their team’s/club’s allocation to be collected on that evening.

The league is once again very appreciative that the generous sponsorship from Bond Timber and W H Bond Ltd is to be continued for the season.

Pick of the first week of matches are the Premier clash of last year’s champions St Dominick A at runners-up Looe Social C, relegated Downderry A’s tough visit to Essa in Division One and Pelynt A will face their first challenge in Division Two with the visit of Trewidland.
