MORE than 1,700 members of Young Farmers Clubs in the Westcountry attended a gathering in Weymouth, Dorset. The South West Area of Young Farmers Clubs held its activities weekend in the seaside town. Members from Cornwall did well in a number of competitions and activities which included ballroom dancing, drama, public speaking, singing and sport. Cornwall won the Just a Minute speaking competition and were joint first in the choir contest.
