Leaders Elm Utd met third placed Torpoint Youth in a top DJM U-13 Astor match and pulled off a great 2-1 win.
In a hard fought game in difficult conditions Torpoint went ahead in the first half with an own goal after some good pressure from the Torpoint forwards.
Elm equalised just before the break with a well taken goal from Hall. With the game evenly poised in the second half, Craig Crouch broke away from the Elm defence to score a fine winning goal.
Goalkeeper Steven Pacey pulled off some fine saves towards the end to the game to make sure Torpoint got the points.
Man of match - Torpoint Craig Crouch; Elm Utd - Wayne Loveridge.
In their first encounter with Activate this season in DJM U-14 Grenville St Cleer U-14s were involved in a game of two different halves. Activate started the better and goalkeeper Robin Brown did superbly to push a dipping shot over the bar.
As the half progressed, St Cleer started to play some excellent football and the powerful running of Craig Hamson took him pass the Activate defenders, and he scored with a well taken goal.
Good work by Craig Walton saw Martyn Hake hit a fine second and Hamson raced through again to make it 3-0. Just before half time Dan Ball ventured up from centre back to score the fourth from a Hake cross.
This was a fine first half performance from St Cleer - probably the best they have played. But despite a warning from manager Brian Bunney that the game was not over they failed to fine their touch in the second period.
Activate started the second half much more determined and soon pulled a goal back. Continuing to dominance they soon added two more before Hamson had a good chance to score a fifth. Continued pressure from Activate brought about an equaliser five minutes from the end. Two fine stops from Brown denied them a winner.
Both teams contributed towards an excellent game and although St Cleer were disappointed after having taken such a good lead credit must be given to Activate for a superb come back.
Craig Hamson won the Activate man of the match award and Neal Davey who had a fine performance at centre-half won the St Cleer manager's award but on the first half performance it could have gone to anyone.
This weekend St Cleer are home to Prince Rock (12.30).
