WORK on Callington Bowling Club's disabled access is going well. The project is hope to be finished by April in time for the club's annual open day. 'Work is coming along quite well,' said Tony Parker, of the club. 'There's been a lot done, as you can see when you go past.' The club has had a busy time of late hosting many groups and organisations around the area. You can still get involved with the club on Tuesdays and Fridays, 2-4pm, for short-mat bowls. Club evenings are Fridays from 6pm and new bowlers are welcome. Coaches are on hand to help with skills.
