THE first phase of the major redevelopment of an 'eyesore' derelict holiday complex at Millendreath could soon be under way.

But some local residents, while welcoming the granting of planning permission by Cornwall Council's strategic planning committee for the construction of 50 new holiday homes on the eastern side of the Millendreath valley, say they are not clear as to what has in fact been approved.
