Applications invited

The Cornwall Women's Football League invites applications from new teams to join the current 12 members for it's third season, beginning September 2000. Sports Clubs, schools, colleges or other organisations and individuals are all welcome to apply.

If you want to play for a team, contact us and we can put you in touch with your nearest club(s).

Players must be at least 14 years old to play in the women's league. For U14s there will be opportunities for junior matches, 7-a-side games and coaching.

With the league rapidly expanding, more referees are urgently needed. Match fees are £6 (plus 16p per mile travel expenses). Call Dave James on (01209) 719462.

Charity Cup

The draw for the semi-final of the Durning Lawrence Charity Cup competition (7.30 ko) have resulted - Tuesday April 4, Penryn Ath v Falmouth Town (at Truro City); Thursday, April 6, Porthleven v Millbrook (Newquay).
