A YOUNG woman says she is living a nightmare after building work began on a new property just metres from her home.

Lianne Piper broke down in tears as she explained to the Cornish Times that, despite objecting strongly to the plans, they were still given the go- ahead by Cornwall Council in February.

Miss Piper says she cannot open the curtains of her property in Piggy Lane, Pensilva, for fear of being overlooked and has been constantly worried since work began on Monday that the debris from the site will damage her car or her rented house.
