One of Cornwall’s biggest classic car rallies will this year take place on July 15.

Wheels 2018, the classic car show run by Wadebridge Rotary Club, raises funds for local charities.

In 2017 a record 1,350 vehicles, of all types, ages and sizes were at the event, including the ‘best in show’ Vauxhall 1440 Princeton Tourer brought by Mr John Stacey-Hibbert (pictured), and more than 2,700 visitors came to see them.

Wheels will be supporting the Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer as its primary charity this year.

The Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer was founded in 1999 at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.

Registration to participate is open online at www.wadebridgewheels.co.uk.

It is free for exhibitors to register but they are encouraged to make a donation to one of the other featured charities this year, St Petroc’s Society, which tackles homelessness in Cornwall.

The event will take place on July 15 at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre, Wadebridge.
