Conservative councillor Dawn Austin has recently accepted chairmanship of the Liskeard cattle market working party.

She said: 'The Liskeard cattle market has always been at the heart of Liskeard. At this time of crisis in farming in the South East Cornwall area we must stand by our farmers.'
