Here is the weather forecast for midday on Friday (August 19) in Cornwall:
It will be a wet, windy and unsettled day for many parts of the county.
Southerly winds will blow across the region, and the sea state will be rough on both costs. The heaviest rain will be in the far west of the county.
The north of the county should escape the heavy showers but instead may have thunder storms in between sunny spells.
South East Cornwall will have an unsettled day of heavy showers and sunny intervals. Temperatures across the county will be 18-20C.
