Jimmy Alexander spent Sunday washing other people's cars to raise the profile of his forthcoming charity walk around Cornwall. Jimmy was in the car park at Polperro all day offering to wash cars in support of the Ellie's Haven charity, and raised a total of £95. However, the main purpose of the day was to let people know about his walk around the coast of Cornwall on May 6. Together with Lee Dimmock, landlord of the Noughts and Crosses Inn in Polperro, and barman Andrew Rogers, he has formed the Ellie's Haven Polperro Fundraisers, which will be hosting an auction of donated items at the pub from 8pm on Saturday evening.
