An attack on sheep in daylight has left one animal dead and another two injured.
Smallholder Lynne Burt, from No Man’s Land, has made an emotional plea to dog owners to keep their pets under control following the incident.
The sheep were grazing on a field opposite Looe Community Academy, on the Barbican, when the attack took place last Sunday.
The land is private property with no right of way through it, said Lynne.
The vet has confirmed that the sheep were attacked by a dog, says Lynne.
‘These sheep have suffered because someone has been uncaring enough to let their dog onto private property where animals are grazing,’ she said.
The matter has been reported to the police.
