Volunteers are wanted in Torpoint to join the Great British Spring Clean at Thanckes Park.

Helpers are asked to meet at Benodet Park at 10am this Saturday - the clean goes on until 3pm. The event is being organised by the Run in the Park group.

On her Facebook page Heather Stenning said: ‘Please spare us an hour to help with a litter pick or some planting.’
