'Viking marauder' speaks out

Mr Webb, please turn the record over. I am sure that I am not the only one who is tired of your tirades about 'emmets, on whom many born and raised in Cornwall rely for their living.

I myself was not born in England, but in Denmark, so what would you call me, a Viking Marauder? You do not have to be born in Cornwall to love and want what is best for Cornwall. You, however, seem to think that you, and you alone, care. So, tell us all what exactly have you done for Cornwall, other than been born here, and what would you do if all your so-called 'emmets' left?

In my own opinion I think that I have contributed, without being intrusive, to the area I have lived and worked in for the last 26 years.

If you cannot say anything nice about tourists and non-Cornish, then at least stop calling us 'emmets'. It is insulting and near enough to being racist. Live and let live, OK?
