Herodsfoot All Saints Church and The Friends of Herodsfoot said goodbye to their rector, the Rev Peter Bellenes, and his wife Alyson at the end of last month.
Marking his ministry in the parish Mr Bellenes was presented with a picture by churchwarden Ian Gordon and treasurer of the Friends, Mary Counter. The detailed collage was commissioned from Penzance artist Ian Guyver and marked the engagement of Mr Bellenes and his wife in all aspects of village life which included fundraising to enable the church building to become a social centre for all the village and not just church members.
