Following the success of its area housing and benefits offices in Saltash and Torpoint, Caradon Council is to open two new offices in the district - in Looe and Callington.

The Looe office will be situated at The Rose Garden (next to the Tourist Information premises) in Fore Street and will be open every Wednesday from this week from l.30pm to 4.30pm. The Callington office will be based at the council chamber in the town hall and will operate every Monday from March 27 between the same hours.

Both offices will give members of the public the chance to enquire about housing and housing/council tax benefit matters. Facilities will be available for private interview if required. Disabled access is provided at both sites.

For security reasons, it will not be possible to make any payments to the council at these offices.
