THE East Looe Town Trust has began to renovate the seafront with its own capital following a number of years of unfulfilled grants and funding. The first phase of this development should be completed by Easter. An informal opening will be held on Easter Saturday afternoon. Entertainment will be provided by a world class New Orleans-style jazz band including Brian Carrick, Annie Hawkins and Guy Fenton will be playing, weather permitting from 2pm-4.45pm. By next winter, it is hoped that new lighting, seating and paving will be in place. It is hoped that fundraising will allow for the complete renovation of the Watchtower and the Old Lifeboat House.
