Football followers are mourning the loss of one of the sport's most popular figures.

Liskeard Athletic chairman Dave Hick died last week, aged 68, after a fight against cancer.

Affectionately known as Ticker, Dave had been involved with the South West Peninsula League club for almost 35 years, serving as chairman for much of that period.
