St John Ambulance Brigade in Saltash is to help carers, through a carers in the community scheme.

The scheme enables the carers of relations and friends to have a break in the knowledge that qualified people are looking after their patients.

Training evenings will be held on Thursdays from 7.30-9.30pm at St John Ambulance headquarters in Saltash, with volunteers welcome. The service is being run in co-operation with other voluntary and statutory care in the community groups within the area.
