A TRADER at Liskeard's Cattle Market says she was 'disgusted' and 'upset' to find human excrement at her unit. Sue Rice, from S and J Plants, arrived with her sister early on Monday to be greeted by the sight of used toilet roll, human waste and take away leftovers. 'I was just disgusted – it's absolutely shocking,' said Sue. 'We very often have to pick up dog mess, but we have never had to deal with human faeces before. 'They did it over the painted flowers on my wall – it looked like it was done intentionally. How could anyone be so dirty?' With no running water at the unit, Sue had to ask some of her first customers to step round the mess, before enlisting the help of Liskeard's street cleaner. A nearby trader contacted Cornwall Council by email about the incident. The council said: 'Street cleansing, including Liskeard market site, is carried out by council contractor Cory. A member of their street cleansing team responded immediately to the stall holder's request.'
