Today will be another bitterly cold day in South East Cornwall with strong winds and the potential for further snow – with maximum temperatures of 3 °C.
Sleet and snow will steadily move north and ease, but there is a risk of freezing rain, with icy stretches forming on untreated surfaces.
It will remain cold and windy overnight with a minimum overnight temperature of -4 °C.
Tomorrow’s temperatures will creep up to a maximum of 6 °C.
The forecast for the district on Saturday is for patchy outbreaks of rain, sleet and mainly hill snow through the day.
