Time is fast running out for the Blues to avoid relegation, as they are now six points from safety and have played more games than the teams above them following this defeat at Bodmin. Liskeard played well in the opening 45 minutes despite having outfielder Ed Bradshaw in goal and were only 3-2 down at half time. Ross Welsh latched on to a through ball to give Bodmin the lead with Jason Aimes making it 2-0.

Jo Kennedy responded for the visitors after good work between Bradley Richardson and Steve Rendle, before Welsh knocked in his second goal. Liskeard continued to resist and deservedly reduced the arrears through Rendle.
