A PLAN for 84 new houses has again been recommended for refusal by Callington Town Council. A revised plan for the development at Station Road, Kelly Bray, came before the council's planning committee earlier this month. Brought by Barratt Homes, the development would see 34 affordable properties included in the scheme. Five Kelly Bray residents attended the meeting and voiced their concerns to the council. The council has five main points for the objection. They are: l concern over the access l water flow from Kit Hill can make the area hazardous l the development is too big for the area l the amount of market value houses outside the development line l concerns over the land's mining past.
