With dry weather and a good turn out, organisers of the 107th Liskeard Show have named it a great success.

Visitor numbers were up on previous years with around 9,000 people passing through the gates of the showground at Merrymeet on Saturday.

Traders reported booming business as the sun broke through the clouds and offered a mainly dry show for the first time in years.
