Hundreds of job hunters have taken their first step towards securing one of more than 200 posts at a new Tesco superstore.

About 400 people went to Callington Town Hall for information and advice about applying for jobs at the new Tesco store in the town.

Gary Wills, who will be manager of the store when it opens on August 30, and resource manager Kate Platt were on-hand during the day to answer questions from the many people who attended.
