A teenager from Menheniot has been selected to perform at the South West regional final of the Open Mic UK competition at Southampton’s 1865 venue on Sunday, October 9.

The annual competition, supported by the music industry, is a nationwide search for unsigned singers and songwriters.

Charlie Harris, 15, a student at Devonport High School For Girls, attended an audition in September at the same venue.

As part of the final, it would help if as many people as possible to visit Charlie’s Facebook page and like.
