Stand up and take a bow the players and management of Torpoint Athletic.

The Tamarsiders made history on Saturday by becoming the first Carlsberg South West Peninsula League club to reach the fifth round of the FA Carlsberg Vase – and are now just three wins away from a Wembley final.

Stuart Dudley's side travelled to the outskirts of Walsall and fought back from two goals down to secure a 3-2 victory, as well as £1,500 in prize-money and a spot in the next round.

There are some very big teams left in the last 16 of the competition, but if Saturday's spirit and determination can be reproduced then who knows what could happen?

The Tamarsiders could even emulate Truro City's magnificent success of 2007.

A crowd of 140, including more than 40 travelling supporters, were treated to a pulsating cup-tie – but it was the Tamarsiders who were celebrating after scoring three times in the final 15 minutes to complete a magnificent comeback.
