A guided ‘biodiversity stroll’ around the Tamar Trails Centre will offer the chance to discover the animals, plants and mining history of the area.
The family-friendly walk, around three kilometres long, will lead participants through landscape that has been shaped by its industrial past.
Walkers will learn how this may have affected the wildlife that lives there today.
The event, on Saturday, July 9, will be the last to be organised by the Tamar Valley AONB’s Helping Hands for Heritage project.
Booking for the walk is essential. For further details, email volunteering@tamar valley.org.uk or call 01822 835030.
