a taste of professional football with Plymouth Argyle – but south west soccer legend Bradley Swiggs insists the best years of his career were spent at Liskeard Athletic.
After banging in around 1,000 goals in a pilgrimage spanning five decades, Swiggs, 51, has decided to quit Saturday football with immediate effect because he 'isn't enjoying it anymore'.
The prolific marksman has been turning out for Mount Gould in the Plymouth and West Devon Combination League this term but, with the Division One title having already been secured, he has told club bosses that it's time for him to call it a day now, rather than at the end of the campaign.
