The Marine Biological Association is carrying out research for the Tamar Estuaries Consultative Forum (TECF) on how people use Plymouth Sound and the Tamar for recreation.
Organisers say the results will help inform the management of the waters, so nature conservation interests are maintained and recreational activities can continue.
An online questionnaire about sport and leisure activities should take no more than 10 minutes to fill in, and there is the chance to win some prizes (include £50 of vouchers, an annual membership of the Marine Biological Association of the UK and a family ticket to the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth) through a draw.
You can access the survey at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TECF up to December 30.
