THIRTY-SIX Schools were involved in the SE Cornwall Junior Schools Sports Association Area sports held at Liskeard Community School on four evenings (June 26-29).
Approximately 1,000 children were actively involved vocally supported by a similar number of parents and friends.
Blessed with four evenings of sunshine and a warm welcome from Liskeard Community School the event was a great success.
Winning Schools were - Small schools - Downderry; medium schools - Harrowbarrow; intermediate - Dobwalls CP; large school - Carbeile Jnr.
