Students at Callington Community College have helped to rebuild vandalised football dug-outs.

In December of last year, vandals struck at Callington Football Club, demolishing two dug-outs that had been created by volunteers beside the second team pitch.

Now a team of Year 7 boys from the college has restored the facilities.

The boys, aged 11 and 12, volunteered to use their school challenge week to re-lay the block walls, construct a new roof, fix the benches and paint the outsides.
