SOME stones on the moor tell stories - and historian Brian Oldham knows which ones have the most stories to tell.

Brian will be leading a walk with Liskeard’s Walkers are Welcome (WaW) group on Wednesday (December 27).

The circular walk will leave the Hurlers Car Park in Minions at 10.30am, and Brian describes it as a ‘four mile-ish ramble taking in over 30 granite stones which have some history attached to them’.

He said: ‘Walkers are Welcome invite you to blow away the cobwebs on December 27.

‘Wear footwear and clothing suitable for a winter’s day on the moor. A small donation towards WaW would be appreciated.’
