Steven Coombe, who used to attend Callington community college and Ben Phillips, who used to attend Bodmin school are now at the Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
They have recently given up their time to play trumpet in the NSPCC Big Band. Last year the Band performed in the Hall for Cornwall has now recorded a CD, 'A tribute to Glenn Miller', which is being sold to raise funds for the NSPCC. This CD is not on general release yet, but a copy can be obtained from Peter and Jenny Coombe, at Dupath Farm in Callington, telephone 01579 382197, at a cost of £10 (postage and packing if necessary at £1.50 per CD).
