TWO choirs, one Cornish and the other Italian, received a standing ovation on Saturday evening following their concert at the Wesley Church. Organised by the Mayor, Sue Hooper, profits from the concert were donated to the Mayor's charities and choir funds. The Mayor welcomed the two choirs with a special welcome in Italian for the 'Coro Fodom' Male Voice Choir from the Dolomites area of Italy. They were directed by Lorrenzo Vallazza. The Cornish Choir, 'Canoryon Lowen' which means 'Happy Singers', were directed by Nick Hart and were accompanied by Sarah Scott on the piano.
