I Was very disappointed to note that Looe Town Council deemed it unnecessary to fly the flag of St Piran on the Looe Town Hall flagstaff on St Piran's day. Many Cornish people I have spoken with agree that this was a very poor show by the town council who purport to represent local traditions! Every town hall in Cornwall flies the flag on this day. Would this not have been an ideal photo opportunity for the mayor? Indeed most town halls in Cornwall fly the St Piran flag as a matter of course every day, why not Looe?
