An under-strength Caradon side travelled to Tavistock and came away with a hard-earned point in their first League match of the new South West One campaign.

Caradon's midfield, led by Paul Luiten, constantly harassed and harried the Tavistock attacks, dealing with most threats before they crossed in to the Caradon 23 area.

However, despite the best efforts of visiting goalkeeper Toby Riddle, it was the hosts who broke the deadlock.
