CHILDREN and grown ups all over South East Cornwall are dressing up, baking cakes and having fun today to support the BBC’s Children in Need appeal.
Darite Primary Academy teaching assistant Alex Dungey and her daughter Eliza were among those who came into school as superheroes.
Tonight’s live broadcast from the BBC at 7.30pm will feature the Eastenders cast, a celebrity Weakest Link, and a Strictly Come Dancing special with Blue Peter presenters.
All over the country the Pudsey the Bear mascot will be encouraging children to enjoy the day for good cause; the Children in Need appeal has raised more than £600 million for disadvantaged youngsters in the UK.
