The parents of a young motorcyclist, lucky to escape with his life after he was involved in a road accident, are urging Cornwall Council to stop motorists parking along a coast road.

Chris Lloyd, 20, is still recovering at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, after the crash on Seaton seafront, which involved a car pulling out of a junction.

Seaton resident Mel Campbell, the driver of the car, says her sight was obscured by vehicles parked along the road and Chris' family agree that something needs to be done to make the road less dangerous.

Chris' mother Carol Clayton said: 'Chris has been seriously hurt but, if no changes are made, somebody is going to get killed.'
