I AM writing having been born and brought up at Moorswater when it was a thriving village and having lost my family's home, due to the new bypass, after them living there for more than 60 years. I now see the devastation caused to the surrounding countryside by the emerging Dobwalls Bypass. I am sure I am not the only one to be shocked by the amount of loss of green fields, trees and wildlife habitat that it is causing. I hope the people of Dobwalls think it worthwhile, just so tourists are able to reach Newquay ten minutes quicker and keep our precious tourism industry from sinking. At what cost!
