St Dennis 1 St Cleer 2

It was a surprise to everyone that this game at Boscowan Park even took place, but it did and St Cleer are not complaining as their legendry hard work finally produced the goods. St Dennis had much of the early play and should have taken the lead when Carl Paull fired a 15th minute shot against the post. The home side were also guilty of missing a number of good opportunities, but for a change the luck went St Cleer's way. After standing up to the St Dennis attacks, St Cleer fought their way back into the game and were rewarded when teenager Joe Kennedy's strike gave them the lead. St Cleer continued after the break to give as good as they got in deteriorating conditions and were duly rewarded with a second goal from Brad Burchell. St Dennis were in no mood to hand in the towel and after good work by Paull, Brian Banfield tapped in to reduce the arrears. But St Cleer held on to secure all three points and erase the 4-1 hammering they received at home, but more importantly lifted themselves off the bottom of the table.
