SHIRLEY Lake, of Hatt near Saltash, was delighted when she was picked as the latest winner of the Cornish Times’ weekly competition to win £50 to spend with one of the newspaper’s advertisers.
Mrs Lake has decided to spend her winnings on getting her car checked over and prepared for the winter weather by the friendly mechanics at the Riverside Garage in Tideford, owned by Nicola Peck.
