LOOE SAILING CLUB

DUE to Championship commitments, it was catch-up time for Looe Sailing Club as Race Officer Brian Carvey and his team decided on back-to-back races, with the main event being the first race for the September Cups.

Enterprise team, Steve Sargent and crew Callum Dingle, made the right decisions up the beat to windward in the tricky north west wind to take their Class cup, followed by Francis and Enid Marshall, who looked a little jet-lagged after competing in Fishguard all week.

In the Mirror Class, teams Jaycock and Bowdler took first and second positions respectively, but due to the rules of this particular cup, the recipient crew must both be under 18 years.

Therefore, in third position, Jack Spree and crew Amber Palfrey, again showing great promise, were awarded the silverware.
