Santa will be visiting children in Liskeard next weekend – thanks to a town trader.

A cosy and sparkling grotto has been set up ready for Father Christmas to welcome youngsters at Ye Olde Gaol gift shop in Well Lane.

Proprietor Cathy Bishop and manager Jan Raines have set up the grotto in conjunction with the Liskeard Traders Association, and proceeds will benefit the charity Help for Heroes.

Santa welcomed visitors on Saturday, and the grotto will be open again on Saturday, December 16 from 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm.
