This was the third attempt to get a result in the first round Cornwall Junior Cup tie between the two sides which, because of the lack of an official referee was once again played as a friendly and Stithians will still have to wait to see who they will play in the next round.
The Fowey side had the best of the first half in this close encounter, leading 15-12 at the interval. Skipper Jamie Miller scored two tried with Steve Arthur scoring a third. Roseland replied with two tries converting one.
The visitors had the best of the second session with John Hewitt kicking a penalty before Roseland scored a further converted try.
