Callington entertained Bude II's in a friendly fixture and came away as comfortable winners. Callington got off to a flying start thanks to hooker Alan Jasper, who from a line out ball, made a great dive through their defence to score in the far corner. Callington scrum Half Kevin Stark scored the next try coming as a result of a scrum on the five-metre line picking the ball up well to dive over the line. Bude responded with a Carn Shepherd try just before half time.

Kevin Stark added his second try for Callington just minutes into the second half and was shortly followed by another from outside centre Ali Skews, which was converted by Matthew Halfpenny.

Winger Mark Jacob managed to score a further two tries for Callington, both of which were greatly manoeuvred.

However, Bude had the final say in the game scoring a last minute try by Seth Gent which took the final score to 34-10.
