The Livewire Youth Project in Waterside, which started out originally as Saltash Boys Club, has announced that its 70th anniversary is to be ‘royally’ celebrated next month.

On Thursday, September 8, the Duchess of Gloucester, wife of the Queen’s first cousin Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, will visit the project to tour the premises and meet the young people, trustees and sponsors, as well as a number of guests.
